A day as scotus' principle

If you could be our principle for one day, and in that one day you could change any rules you wanted. What would you all change and why would you change it.

If I was the principle I would definitly change a couple rules at Scotus Central Catholic. The first thing that I would change would be the tucked in shirts. I know that it may be respectful, but it costs kids a lot of money throughout the years. Another thing I would change would be to allow open lunch for seniors. I think that since seniors are adults, they should be able to eat lunch where they choose.

Well I would definitely change a few things about this school. One, there would not be fines for having your shirt untucked. Guys would be able to have long hair, facial hair, and their ears pierced if they want to. Seniors would also get open lunch because they can handle the responsibility of this. Also, kids would not have to pay attention if they don't want but can't bother others. It is their choice to learn if they want, but cannot prevent others from wanting to learn.

There are some main changes that I would make if I was principle for a day. The first thing I would change is open lunch. The second thing I would change is no dress code 2 times a week. Finally, I would allow everyone to bring food and drinks in the classes. This would allow classes to run smoothly and with no complaints.

If I was Mr.Morefeld, I would deffinitly have some things taken care of at Scotus. For one, I would ease a few pointless rules that only make life a living hell for the students that go here. It is pathetic how the school does not respect the senior's well being by letting them have open lunch. No senior wants to see the mean face of the lunch ladies everyday. Having Shirts tucked in is also becoming stressful on students when they get charged a dollar for it when most of the time they did not evin know they had a part of their shirt hanging out. Yeah, if I was the principal, I would have Scotus make some positive upgrades.

If I was principal for a day, I would deffinatly take out a lot of the pointless fine rules. Tucked in shirts is one that students don't always obey anyway, so why should we fine them for it? Also, I would change some dress code issues. I never really understood why we have light blue as one of the polo colors. Everytime this issue comes up in a Stuco meeting, the students all suggest dropping the light blue and adding black. Blue is too much like Lakeview, and black is a neutral color that everyone likes. Also, open lunch for seniors would be a great thing to add because all of the grades now have repectful students who wouldn't just leave school and not come back after lunch. The seniors deserve to have this. In fact, juniors and seniors get open lunch at CHS. It's time to step things up.

If I was principle for one day I would definetly change the tucking in the shirts rule. I think we are all honestly disciplined as it is that we do not need to abide to this rule, but Junior High should still tuck in the shirts because they are still immature. Another rule that I would change is that Senior and Juniors should be allowed to have opened lunch. I would also invent a new rule that all junior high kids should not be allowed in a study hall full of high school students

If I was the principle for a day, I would change many rules. The first rule I would change would be guys could have facial hair as long as it was groomed. This would not be a problem since men naturally grow facial hair. Also I would get rid of the dollar fine for an untucked shirt because some teachers do not even bother or care. Also, I would change the colors of the school polos to colors that would actually be school colors.

If I was principle for the day I would take care of some business. First I would get rid of all fines for ridiculous things like an untucked shirt, having a shoe off,??? and having long hair. Most of the time students are unaware of the infraction anyways so what makes the teacher think they will notice the next time. Second the whole being tardy for not being in your desk at the exact time the bell rings is pretty dumb. Class usually does not start for at least 2 minutes after the bell has rang and half the time the teacher is the one who is late. These things seem obvious to me, I do not see why they are not so obvious to the faculty.

If I was the principle for one day, I would change the dress code. I would change so that no one had to wear a uniform, and that they can wear whatever they want. Even tank tops, if they are not too relvealing, and sandals. I would also change lunch. I would change it to that you have three choices for lunch, either eat at school, bring your own lunch to school, or go home for lunch and come back.

If I were principal, I would say and want to change a lot of things, but in reality, I probably would not do to much. First of all, I would limit the amount of things junior high could do because the are so irresponsible and annoying. Second, I would give the upper class more freedom. I would enforce the rules in which I set and be stern about them, but I would not have to many rules. I would also enjoy each and everyday knowing that I would be principal and I wasnt in school.

If I were a principal for a day, the major thing I would change is upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) could bring any food and drink to school. We could keep these items in our locker and we could eat in between classes but if teachers caught us with food in classrooms, then they could take it away. The other major thing I would change would be that if it was cold, (haha, like it never is) we could wear normal sweatshirts. Most people do not like the school legal sweatshirts and our regular sweatshirts are much more comfortable.

If I was principle for a day, I would take away dollar fines and there would not be rules for long hair or for facial hair. There would be a senior lounge where the conference room is and there would be open lunch for students who can drive. Teachers would also print out notes so we wouldn't have to waste the entire class period taking them.
